This role is essential to the production cycle, ensuring steel components are processed efficiently and to industry standards. Key Responsibilities Material Preparation: Securely wiring and jigging steel products for the galvanizing process. Surface Finishing: Utilizing grinders and hand tools to remove excess zinc and ensure a smooth, compliant finish. Quality Assurance: Inspecting materials pre- and post-treatment for defects. Logistics: Organising, stacking, and palletising finished goods for dispatch. Safety Compliance: Adhering strictly to OHS protocols and maintaining a clean industrial workspace. Candidate Requirements Physical Capability: Ability to perform manual labour in a heavy industrial environment. Technical Aptitude: Previous experience with power tools (grinders/sanders) is highly regarded. Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
